Anesthesia & surgery
Hi, I am planning on getting double eyelid surgery in April next year (have plans on staying in Korea for a maximum of 2 weeks), but before I make my reservation I have a couple of questions: 1. I can't handle pain, so is there an anesthesia shot in the arm that I could take so that I won't feel the shots you put to numb my eye? From my understanding, there are 4 shots around each eye to numb the eye so that we won't feel a thing during surgery. But some clinics provide anesthesia shots through the arm and while we're half conscious they start numbing the eye and start surgery - are you able to provide that service? 2. I am planning on having medium parallel crease (out-folds), how much would that cost? 3. I have been using eyelid tape for a long time and only just found out that it's not good for the eyelids, will there be a problem doing surgery on my eyes? 4. And are there any costs involved in having a face to face consultation? 5. Lastly, I do not speak Korean, so will there be any fluent English speaking surgeons who have more than 5 years experience? I look forward to you reply. |
Hi.
We do provide anaesthetic method which you asked. That is the IV anaesthetic procedure before starting surgery. So you won't feel pain before or during the surgery.
Shape of crease doesn't depend on costs. The methods, incision or non-incision, will make difference in costs. The tape used for fake line formation will affect on eyelid skin. It deteriorates wrinkes and increases chance to get incisional surgery rather than non-incisional surgery because of drooping of skin. Consultation will be free of charge. You won't feel any difficulties while you are here.
You are planning to stay in Korea in April for 2 months, then we recommend you come and consult first. Seeing and talking is much more helpful than writing and describing.
Thank you
